Sugar Push

The stitch pattern swings back and forth around the cuff and hand, reminiscent of dancing the West Coast Swing dance step called the Sugar Push. The other designs in the West Coast Swing Collection are Flying Lindy (socks), Syncopation (a shell), and Basket Whip (a free cowl pattern distributed by Classic Elite).

Stitch instructions are both written and charted. Pattern written in 3 sizes.


Yarn: Fingering weight sock yarn.
Model: Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Merino, knit in the smallest size.
Gauge: 7.5 sts/inch in stockinette.
Needles: US 1 (2.25 mm)
Finished size: Small [medium, large].
Notions: A short length of waste yarn and 2 stitch markers are required.
