Cross-stitch fabric calculator

A number of years ago my wonderful husband wrote this fabric calculator for me, as I also love to do counted cross-stitch. Up until now, this calculator has lived on my other site, Laura's Books. That site is now gone, but I didn't want to loose the calculator... So here it is.

Pattern:  Designer:  Fabric:  Color:  Fabric type:  Evenweave  Aida Thread count:  Stitching over:  One  Two threads Design width:  stitches Design height:  stitches Framing allowance:  inches   Fabric width:  Fabric height:

Thread count: Number of threads per inch of evenweave fabric; number of blocks per inch of Aida fabric.

Framing allowance: Blank, unstitched fabric between the edge of the design and the outer edge of the fabric.

Note: This calculator always rounds up to the next one-quarter inch. Therefore, if your design is 15.1 inches wide, this calculator will say it's 15.25 inches.

This calculator works with both Firefox and Internet Explorer. We haven't been able to test compatibility with other browsers. This form powered by php, Javascript, and AJAX.
