Mitt pattern coordinates with the Merced socks. Knitting these mitts is a great way to use up left-over sock yarn. Stitch pattern runs down either side of the hand, and shows off best when there’s a bit of negative ease.

Model knit with Dream in Color, Smooshy, in the Nightwatch colorway; size small, which fits a woman's hand.
Size 1 (2.25 mm)
Size E
7½ stitches per inch in stockinette.
Small [medium, large].
Waste yarn for provisional cast on, and 2 stitch markers required.
