Flying Lindy

My parents met during the 1950s when swing dancing was all the rage. They lived here on the west coast so always danced the West Coast Swing. This is the first of a series of patterns based on the swing stitch pattern, which naturally reminds me of my parents, and how they met. The Flying Lindy is a fast-moving variation of the West Coast Swing.

Sock is knit from the cuff down. Stitch instructions are both written and charted. Pattern written in 5 sizes. If you like this pattern, and want matching mitts, you may like Sugar Push. The other designs in the West Coast Swing Collection are Syncopation (a shell), and Basket Whip (a free cowl pattern distributed by Classic Elite).
