Pacific IslandsA simple shell pattern that makes beautiful points on the cast-on edge is combined with an ocean wave on either side. Design is knit from cast on edge to the center in two pieces, which are then grafted together. Can be knit as scarf or shawl. For a more complicated shawl with and ocean theme see South Seas Stole. Hear Ye! Hear Ye! A KAL for this pattern will be starting on Ravelry on February 12, 2010, so that those participating in Ravelympics can use this pattern as a project, if they want to.
